Laila Hamzi is a Barrister at the Victorian Bar whose practice has focussed on business human rights and international arbitration. Laila practised in the commercial disputes teams of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP and Latham & Watkins LLP in London.
Laila was previously Associate to H.E. Judge Cançado Trindade of the International Court of Justice in The Hague and also practised with Lander & Rogers. Laila has seen the rise of ESG abroad and has worked with multinational and B Corp brands on ESG matters.
Laila has been ranked as a key lawyer in the Legal 500 (UK) for 2021 and 2022.

Paul Beaton is a Senior Policy Officer for the Clean Energy Council. Paul co-founded the U.S. Southeast’s first biofuel company, has worked with the U.S. National Academy of Sciences to accelerate innovation in renewable energy technologies, engaging Nobel laureates, retired regulators and Fortune 50 CEOs and CTOs.

Katy Mixter is Strategy Manager for Coles, specialising in ESG and sustainability. She has held sustainability roles across various sectors, from banking to international development.
Previous work via Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has led to extensive experience advising companies in the Australia & New Zealand markets on strategic topics, including ESG and sustainability.

Florence Drummond is globally recognised as one of the Minerals industry’s most respected thought leaders for Indigenous engagement, strategy and sustainable participation.
Addressing the challenge of Indigenous participation at the c-suite level, Florence now serves on the board of a number of organisations across Australia. Her continued efforts in building capacity for Indigenous women into key roles and leading the way forward is also forecast to meet key review years for the national commitment to Closing the Gap.
Indigenous Women in Mining and Resources Australia (IWIMRA), a network co-founded by Florence, is the First Nation Partner to Australia’s largest mining event, International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC).

Paul Radford

Paul Radford is an expert in project and program management as it applies to capital investments and organisational change. He has extensive experience leading capital projects in the mining, oil and gas, transport infrastructure and automotive industries. His experience spans leading BHP’s Mining Autonomy Program, BHP’s Coal Integrated Remote Operations Centre (IROC) project and the South Australian Energy Plan.
Paul is currently supporting large and mid-sized mining companies to progress a range of ESG related matters including closure, water stewardship, tailings management and de-carbonisation.
